It is amazing what flies around your garden at night, with the moth trap working overtime at this time of year, here are a few of the more photographic ones. The number of moths is overwhelming      at times and difficult when so many of them are similar in appearance to a relative novice like myself,so if you can help with the ufos thanks. The Victorians who named the moths must have had vivid imaginations to come up with some of the names like shark and small blood vein. The drinker moth and cream spot tiger were found at Samphire Hoe not in my garden.
