SOUTH TO ELEPHANT ISLAND

The next two days at sea were again spent watching sea birds, attending lectures, drinking tea and eating 3 meals a day.Eventually on the morning of 16th November we were in sight of Elephant Island having crossed the 60 degree south mark in the night.
Breakfast was interrupted by a pod of ORCA hunting around the ship.
