CHINSTRAPS AT ORNE ISLAND.AND DRAKES PASSAGE.

ALMIRANTE BROWN an abandoned Argentinian base,
 ANOTHER GLACIER
PENGUINS HAVE TAKEN OVER THE BASE.
The afternoon landing was squeezed in before leaving,a quick visit to a Chistrap clony at Orne Island.
 THE RESIDENTS WERE VERY VOCAL IN THEIR WELCOME.

Two days at sea before we dock in USHUIA in the south of Argentina.
Drakes Passage was kind to us this time and we could watch the sea birds from the decks.
 Next morning we were greeted by ANTARCTIC PRIONS dashing around the ship.


 SOUTHERN FULMARS soon joined in.




 and a LIGHT MANTLED SOOTY ALBATROSS.
