SOUTH GEORGIA ON MY MIND.

The two day voyage to South Georgia was spent intermittently watching sea birds, drinking tea and  being force fed three times a day.

 SNOW PETREL was the pelagic highlight so far,what a beauty.

 SHAG ROCKS in the middle of nowhere these two pinnacles appear they are home to a large colony of Imperial Cormorants.

 SOUTHERN ROYAL ALBATROSS
 -The dark line on the bill is diagnostic of Royal,
 -

 -SOUTHERN ROYAL its hard work getting into the air.
 -WANDERING ALBATROSS has the largest wingspan on earth up to 350 mm,it also has a clean pinkish bill lacking the dark line of the Royal.
 -This one is in its 5th or 6th year and has small black feathers on the side of the tail.
