CUVERVILLE ISLAND AND NEKO HARBOUR.

By first light we had arrived at Cuverville Island,a zodiac cruise and landing were planned after breakfast.In two groups we assembled for disembarkation, my group were first for the zodiac cruise and it was a touch chilly outside,to say the least.

After a short walk on shore we eventually got back to the ship for a hot shower and a hot chocolate.
The afternoon landing was at Neko Harbour,conditions had improved by now and it was a pleasant sunny afternoon  spent both on shore and in the zodiacs.


 THE ROOKERIES ARE QUITE HIGH UP.
 THE PENGUIN HIGHWAYS ARE CLEARLY WELL USED.

Tomorrow is our last day in Antarctica and we begin the crossing of Drakes Passage....
