LAKE NAIVASHA

We now take the short journey south to Lake Naivasha and the Naivasha Country Club,an old colonial outpost which served as a staging post for the Durban to London Flying boat Service in the 1930s.It is set in lovely grounds and the chalets are very comfortable.

Next morning we were taking a boat ride on the lake and a walk on Crescent Island which I believe was the location for the film OUT OF AFRICA.
