THE AGE OF AQUARIUS

A weeks a long time in birding, and this one ends with my birthday.
On Monday a few of us did a bit of scrub clearance at the top of South Foreland Valley, and whilst doing so added Bullfinch to the year list, afterwards the resident Ravens put in an appearance buy the lighthouse.Along Reach Rd a pair of Corn Buntings were perched up.

Tuesday as usual at the Hoe where another Raven was seen and seemed to be prospecting for nest sites along the cliffs.

After leaving Sam Hoe early, nipped over to Grove to see the Barn Owls but first to show were the Short Eared Owls think there were 3 birds altogether. When it was almost dark the Barn Owls started hunting -always a fine sight.

Ramsgate Harbour was the next port of call on Wednesday to see the GREAT NORTHERN DIVER
