TRELEW AND PUERTO MADRYN

The following morning we got taxis to the airport for the internal flight to Trelew,which was uneventful and lasted a couple of hours.After unloading our bags and a quick bite to eat we visited the town refuse tip as you do.There was a fairly large lake there which held lots of waterbirds.

We then decamped the tip and went to the local park which too had a substantial lake to explore.

The next morning we went back to the town park for a second time,and got a few new birds.

We were soon back on the road to PUERTO MADRYN where we had our first sighting of our home for the next twenty days.
 HONDIUS  The Argentinian flag was on the quayside not the ship.

After a pleasant lunch we mustered at the end of the pier to be admitted through to join the ship.
 GREAT GREBE several were seen from the pier.
