MAGIC MUSHROOMS

Autumn is here and with it the mushrooms and other fungii come into their own,a recent visit to Blean Woods found some very interesting examples:-

 COLOURFUL FLY AGARICS








SHAGGY INK CAP
 These beautifully coloured waxcaps were found at Samphire Hoe



 TURNSTONE ON THE RUN-Prince of Wales Pier
 STONECHAT Samphire Hoe at least 3 pairs at present.
 ROCK PIPIT -on the rails Sam Hoe
BLACK REDSTART- on the rocks Sam Hoe
 CORN BUNTING -20+ on the cliffs

STONECHAT Takes to the wing in Langdon Hole

THE LAST MOTH AN L ALBUM WAINSCOT-The moth trap is now stowed away for the winter .
