THE LADIES ARE COMING

The last few days have seen an influx of painted ladies;not yet on the scale of a couple of years ago but its always a pleasure to have them around. There were seven in my garden on Friday and this morning on the cliffs there were dozens of them.I saw 19 species of butterfly in all between Langdon and South Foreland, good numbers of chalk hill blue was very encouraging.
