THE FIRST WHEATEARS

The weather forecast was not great for this morning but I headed for the cliffs anyway,today was going to be wheatear day and so it proved with a fine male bird and a female in Langdon Hole as well as several yellowhammers and a black redstart.So here we go its spring migration at last.

    Glad you got your first Wheatears! Still waiting for my first Chiffchaff! Popping down Dover way tomorrow - fancy trying to catch up with Kumlein's if its still around (any tips on where best to look/park?).

  2. Hi Adam,there are many free parking spaces around the sea front area with no restriction on sunday,I have seen the gull usually from the prince of wales pier the one inside the harbour near the clock tower,take some bread as bait .
