COSTA RICA Part 2 ARENAL

The plane ride from the coast to Arenal was brilliant with superb views of the countryside below.Once again the weather gods smiled upon us as the sun shone on our arrival and the volcano stood out unshrouded and magnificent.Our base for the next few days was right below this outstanding landmark.

Meanwhile back at base camp the garden birds were flocking to their new food source,crumbled cheese straws purloined from the breakfast buffet.
