CHAPTER 1 -THE DARK CONTINENT

Have been back from the latest holiday of a lifetime with Sandwich Bird Tours for 3 weeks now  and it has taken a long time to sort out 6000 photographs, oh the joy of digital.
This trip took us to Zambia,Botswana and Namibia and we also landed in South Africa and went into Zimbabwean and Angolan waters on boat trips.
The flight from Heathrow to Johannesburg was on the new Airbus 380 a double decker carrying nearly 500 passengers.
Eventually we arrived in Livingstone Zambia and the best views of the Victoria falls were definitely from the air, unfortunately my camera was not to hand.
Our guides for the trip were Neil and Mark from Safari Wise and everything worked perfectly, cheers guys.
Camp Nkwazi was our first stop for two nights, and a cruise on the Zambezi river soon followed.
