DECEMBER 2022

The Short Eared Owls have been attracting large audiences along the Ancient Highway at Sandwich again this month and social media sites have been flooded with some fabulous photos.Unfortunately some toggers have been wandering on to the golf course to get closer to the birds instead of waiting for the birds to come to them, this will no doubt lead to more fences being put up,time will tell.

Not much else to report apart from a Humes Leaf Warbler being found in Pencester Gardens in the middle of Dover in exactly the same place that the YBW was found a few years back.

Samphire Hoe is always quiet at this time of year unless it gets really cold then a few interesting birds can show up Paul found several Snipe and Woodcock during the recent cold snap.
