GEESE DUCKS AND SUN SPOTS

With winter gales battering the coast and just the odd sunny day in between it has been difficult to motivate myself for action but here are the poor efforts I`ve managed in the first two weeks.
 GREEN WOODPECKER

CORN BUNTING
 STODMARSH" THE RAINBOW"
THE STODMARSH BARNACLE GEESE
 LITTLE EGRET
 BLACK HEADED GULL
RED ADMIRAL IN BUSHY RUFF.THE FIRST OF THE YEAR
MALLARD KEARSNEY ABBEY
THE SUN COMES UP LIKE THUNDER
NOTE THE SUNSPOT UNDER THE CLOUD
THIS KITTIWAKE DID NOT SURVIVE THE STORM-PRINCE OF WALES PIER.
EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING-DUNGENESS- THE HUMES WARBLER WAS SEEN HERE LATER.
While looking in vain for the long tailed duck at Scotney these WHITE FRONTED GEESE arrived and settled down to rest but the closest adult bird was on guard duty.

 DRAKE GOOSANDER
 DRAKE GOOSANDER X3
 FEMALE GOOSANDER IN A FLAP.

FEMALE GOLDENEYE

HUMES LEAF WARBLER AT RAMSGATE CEMETRY
ANOTHER DAY DAWNS AT SAMPHIRE HOE
RAZORBILL AT SAM HOE
and below the new Varne lightship being towed into position yesterday afternoon.
