Back to the Langdon Cliffs this weekend, not too early on Saturday after the Crabble Corn Mill cider and beer festival, a very successful social event once again.
Lots of Jays still moving through, large flock of goldfinch, linnets around Langdon Hole with chaffinch, greenfinch half a dozen yellowhammers and two brambling, stonechat and skylarks and the first arriving song thrushes.

Sunday was much busier from the off with lots of chiff chaffs in evidence, more jays and finches, then a wing bar on a warbler with creamy eye brow,oh yes Yellow browed warbler,at that very moment Steve Ray had one at Kingsdown and a little later Paul Holt found another at Samphire Hoe,the place was alive with them!

Two black redstarts were also in the Hole and the Ravens flew over upsetting the peregrines that gave noisy enthusiastic chase.
