KITTIWAKEKITTIWAKEKITTIWAKEThe channel crossing on saturday afternoon provided near perfect conditions for watching gannets and was a small compensation for missing Dovers famous victory at Gillingham,I got home in time to hear Matt Gerrards commentary on the game,revenge is sweet.there were plenty of gannets in the channel but other birds were few and far between just one great skua, two fulmars and a handful of guillemots, were seen along with the usual gulls.
