CANADA WET

As forecast the weather was very wet as we drove north to Port McNeill,a pit stop at Cathedral Grove an area of preserved ancient forest.

Onwards and upwards to Port McNeill with a few choruses of Alan Shermans Camp Granada and Monty Pythons lumberjack song on the way.Arriving at Black Bear Resort a large Motel complex of about 40 rooms, not quite as luxurious but more than adequate.Before dinner at Cluxewe an Indian reserve we had time for a quick walk along the shore where we found several Surf Scoters.

Next morning was our second whale watching cruise this time with MACKAYS OF PORT McNEILL in the capable hands of Captain Splash.
