APRIL COME SHE WILL ONCE MORE

April the month of great optimism for the birder when most of our summer visitors arrive, but it doesn`t always fulfil its promise especially here in East Kent.A cold easterly breeze with clear skies at night put paid to most of our hopes on the coast, just the odd bird being dug out and apart from a good passage of Ring Ouzels and a reasonable number of Wheatears its been pretty dire for passerines, and hirrundines.
