A HARD DAYS HOEING.

Its been a quiet month so far, apart from the bee eater and the black kite,on the bird front so have been waiting for a sunny day to get to grips with some butterflies here are a few you may see at Samphire Hoe at the moment.

COMMON SPOTTED ORCHIDs are plentiful this year.

BEE ORCHIDS are much harder to find.

Away from the Hoe this female  Holly Blue was seen laying eggs on pyrocantha in my garden at the weekend.
