AUGUST FLY THEY MUST.

 Return migration begins in earnest this month and the last of the butterflies appear.Another month with little rain means everywhere is parched and brown,hopefully September will bring relief and fill our depleted ponds and rivers and get the grass growing again.

SILVER SPOTTED SKIPPER the final butterfly of the year to appear,unless any migrants turn up later.
