JUNE 2020 LOCKDOWN EASES A LITTLE.

Well another month ticks by,thank goodness for the alottment it has helped keep me active,though I have ventured out a bit more recently.
Here are a few of the months photos some birds some butterflies a few ships and the odd insect.I will do a seperate blog for this months moths.

The last thing I expected to see in Kent in June was a summer plumaged Snow Bunting,but this turned up on Walmer Green and stayed around for a few  days.
 -SNOW BUNTINGS breed in the arctic generally although a few pairs nest in the Scottish Highlands.
 -they are regular winter visitors
 -but are usually gone by spring.

 -CARNIVAL BREEZE HEADING FOR THE RAINBOW.

 -YELLOW SHELL on the hills at Temple Ewell.

 -YELLOWHAMMER saw the female taking food into a hawthorn bush so presumed breeding pair.
 -RINGED PLOVER on the beach North of Deal seen with day old chick.
 -HERRING GULLS on my chimney stack have three chicks this year
 -STARLING AT North Deal not the Rose Coloured one I was seeking.
 -SMALL SKIPPER
 -BEE BEATLES AT SAMPHIRE HOE,seem to be well established now.
